Better News

As of today we still have our court date for tomorrow at 3:00. We are praying it doesn't change. So far Brad has lost his job and I need to get back to work part time to keep ahead of things and make sure we keep our insurance. I absolutely do know, as hard as this is, it is worth it. We can't wait to get the boys(Cody on Monday) and to see them together. We really know little about Logan besides that we are crazy about him. Thank you for all your understanding and support. Hope to start having better news real soon.

Big Hugs from a recent lurker. I am praying for you and your family and I will be so happy to see Logan home with you. Please know that hundreds of people are thinking of you everyday- if not thousands! Warm regards, Renia

Oh gosh, Lin, I am so sorry :(( Satan is at work over-time here, but you are doing an amazing job of holding your heads up and defying him. You probably don't feel like you're doing an amazing job, but you ARE. We are all so proud of you and honored to know you. Cody and Logan's very existence hinges on God's love for you and His plan for them in your family. God bless you!----Andrea Roberts, Reece's Rainbow Down Syndrome Adoption Ministry

I'm so sorry that your husband lost his job. How awful! God will reward you with these precious boys very soon. The angels will sing the day you carry Logan out of that dreadful place!

Hi Lin! All of us on your floor are following your progress and praying for you! Your blog address is on the back room board and we are rooting for you! If you can handle the FLOOR, you can handle KIEV! ;) And you are right, it is all certainly WORTH it! We can't wait to see you when you get back! Travel safely and godspeed.

Oh no- I am so sorry about the job and the delays. I will add prayers for a new job or hopefully that once home they will reconsider. Hang in there and know that there are lots of prayers being said for all of you right now.

Lin I am so sorry to hear about your husbands job, I know that you know (and I agree) getting the boys home is worth every sacrifice, but you are having an exceptionally hard time of it.

Our hearts and thoughts are with you constantly as you wait for Cody's court date. Prayers that from this point forward, your journey will be much easier.

Lin, sorry I couldn't figure out how to leave a comment before. I am praying for you. You know that the plight of orphans is big on God's list of importance. May He continue to give you strength to stand in the face of these very trying times. You are doing what is RIGHT.

Best wishes from another lurker!
My hopes are that you can get your babies outta there ASAP!
And just who does your hubby work for??? Should we start a sit in or something?? Just awful - plain awful!
Two beautiful little boys have no idea what is in store for them yet - but soon they will!
Hope all goes well with court!

dear mom (and dad!),
hellooo again from your youngest (and quite possibly most fantastic) daughter.
i 100% agree that it IS worth it, and i want you to know that as much as i would LOVE to have you home, i want you to do whatever is necessary to get the boys.
...because i want to play with that giant bag of mega bloks with them.
it taunts me.

LOVE YOU!
